“Just Show Up” show to be held in Orr Park

Radio stations 103.7 The Q and 102.5 The Bull will hold their “Just Show Up” show in Montevallo at 4 p.m. on Aug. 20 at Orr Park. 

The show is free to attend for all ages and will feature live performances by five musical artists. 

In attendance will be singer-songwriter CharlieonnaFriday, whose song “Enough” has received over 87 million listeners on Spotify, as well as indie pop band Lovelytheband, most known for their single “Broken” which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart.  

Several country music acts will perform including Frank Ray, a New Mexico native known for his single “Country’d Look Good on You” and his 2022 performance in the Grand Ole Opry as well as Easton Corbin who is known for his baritone voice and blend of classical and contemporary country music. 

Also performing will be country artist, Kylie Morgan who has been performing country music since she was 12 years old and whose song “If He Wanted To He Would” has received over 62 million Spotify listeners.  

VIP passes, which include a meet and greet with all performing artists and a pass to skip the line, are available for $50. A portion of the proceeds from these tickets will go to benefit Shelby County First Responders.  

103.7 the Q has been holding free “Just Show Up” music events in the Birmingham area since 2016. The event on Aug. 20 will be their second free show in Montevallo and marks the first time that the Q has held a “Just Show Up” show since October 2019.  

The show will be sponsored by the University of Montevallo, Bobby Shunnarah Family Dentistry and Whataburger.
