Every year, the Student Government Association Budget and Finance Committee opens the Leadership Development Fund to financially support students pursuing professional development opportunities.
The Leadership Development Fund can be used to reimburse a student’s expenses for in-person conferences, virtual conferences, webinars and speakers on specific leadership topics or specific academic disciplines.
Reimbursement is only available for currently enrolled Montevallo students. The application must be submitted by whoever is requesting funding.
Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Further instructions and restrictions regarding travel, food, hotels and registration fees can be found on the application form.
The Leadership Development Fund is a fantastic resource for students seeking to enrich their academic and professional journeys. The application can be found in the forms section on FalconLink. The priority deadlines are Jan. 23, Feb. 27, March 20 and April 10.
